Introduction

独立战争歌曲；Yankee Doodle又叫扬基曲、扬基小调。歌词的早期版本是英军嘲笑殖民地居民的勇气以及他们粗俗的衣着和举止。“洋基”是对新英格兰土包子的轻蔑之词，而“杜德儿”的意思即蠢货或傻瓜。然而，在独立战争期间，北美大陆军却采用《扬基·杜德尔》作为他们自己的歌以表明他们对朴素衣着的自豪
