《only my railgun》是TV动画《某科学的超电磁炮》的OP1，由fripSide演唱。

简介
系列动画《某科学的超电磁炮》的第一首片头曲，也是最经典的一首主题曲，作为一首超级燃曲，一出炉便获得了极高的评价。
歌曲采用了电子吉他、电子鼓环等电子乐器来渲染气氛，歌词使用了较多的感叹句和疑问句来增强冲击力，南条爱乃的歌声也如超电磁炮般极具穿透力。
与动画完美契合，以御坂美琴为视角，成功塑造出了炮姐直爽、自信、不拘小节和不畏艰难的性格与“最强电击使”的形象。
ACG神曲。只要是动漫歌曲的榜单，这首歌几乎是无法回避的。
有大量的翻唱版本。其中咕噜碳（ぐるたみん）的忘词翻唱版有很多如“姨妈死开”“如来信撒旦”等空耳。
fripSide演唱会上的必唱曲目，经常被用作重要演唱会的压轴曲。
在fripSide原主唱nao离队半年后，这首歌宣告了fripSide的强势回归，对fripSide有着极其重要的意义。同名单曲一举斩获Oricon周间第三名的漂亮成绩，至今仍然是fripSide取得最高销量的一张唱片。这首歌的大火也使fripSide二期主唱南条爱乃开始引人注目。
sat创作这首歌的时候，fripSide的前主唱nao已经离队，新主唱人选还未确定。而fripSide的歌曲对主唱的声线契合度要求非常高，虽然当时南条尚未加入，但sat已经决定了非南条的声音不可，就假定南条来演唱的情况制作了这首歌曲。
南条评价这首歌结合了科学的电流感与魔法的奇幻感，有着动画OP标志性的疾驰感和帅气感，非常契合作品的主题。
sat称这是一首节奏快且音调高的高难度歌曲，sat很喜欢西方的硬摇滚音乐，采用了类似在一个音符里塞进两三个音节的编曲风格，以实现地道的歌唱速度与旋律。
