Introduction

作為皮亞佐拉一系列「新探戈音樂」的其中一曲，此作將探戈音樂由舞蹈伴奏提升至能單獨演奏的純音樂，並揉合了古典樂及爵士樂的風格：低音部樂句一如巴洛克風格、以半度下行模進，四小節一句為音樂添上了古典時期的色彩，再配上不諧和的爵士樂和弦以及抒情至極的主旋律線條。以上這些元素很自然地調合在一起，發展出一段具永續性的、有機的探戈，樂曲完結後總叫聽眾意猶未盡。
