Introduction

这支歌曲是音乐家王永泉于1960年在部队期间创作的。它诞生的经过也很有意思。当时王永泉正在准备为全军文艺汇演创作一首歌曲，偶然瞥见一首作者为"牛宝源"的四句小诗，由此受到启发，改编了小诗，并谱上了曲。使其成为了一首广为传唱的军旅歌曲。
