Introduction
1848年2月，欧洲全境发生革命，受此影响，法国国内也发生政变，奥尔良王朝被推翻，延续了900余年的法兰西王国寿终正寝。法国重启共和政体，史称“法兰西第二共和国”，采用《吉伦特派之歌》为国歌。唯一的总统也就是后来的法兰西第二帝国皇帝拿破仑三世。但是这个政权只存在了4年就被帝制取代了，1852年12月，法国国内再度发生政变，拿破仑三世晋位为皇，改国号为“法兰西第二帝国”，原国歌废除。
