Introduction

1834年的“自由战争”，可谓空前绝后，基本上扫荡了绝对君主制，行君主立宪政体，于1826年就将国歌换成《立宪颂》。不过，这个君主立宪政体王国也就仅仅存在了74年，就在1910年（清宣统2年）的革命中消失了，《立宪颂》被彻底废止，帝制在葡萄牙，也一去不复返了。随后建立葡萄牙共和国，史称“葡萄牙第一共和国”葡萄牙进入了长达64年的颠沛流离的共和时代。而一首充满战斗气息的爱国歌曲不期而至。
