概要
2つあるうちの中ボス戦の曲の1つ。発売前の紹介動画でも演奏風景と一緒に公開されている。
相手の威圧感を煽るような「ボスバトル1」と比べて、こちらは躍動感を重視したヒロイックな曲となっている。
特にイントロの力強さが印象的で、西木氏自身も「イントロのインパクトが全ての曲かなと個人的には思っています」と語るほど。
またこの曲が流れるシチュエーションでは大きく盛り上がっている事が多く、プレイヤーを絶対負けたくない気持ちにさせてくれる。

このボス戦の曲で大きく評価されているのは、ボス戦前に必ずキャラ固有のテーマを挟み込んでそれをシームレスに繋げる演出方法である。
こういった方法は「バトルエクステンド」といい、この曲だけでなく「ボスバトル1」やラスボス戦の曲でも適用されている。
正確には戦闘前に「キャラ固有のテーマ」→戦闘突入と同時に「キャラ固有のテーマ2」に変更→直ちにボス戦曲へシームレス変更という流れ。
この「キャラ固有のテーマ」から「キャラ固有のテーマ2」への切り替わりが、ほどんど違和感なく繋がっているのがミソ。
全ての曲を自然に繋げるために3つのボス戦の曲は全て「ソ」の音から始めたり、同じテンポで共通させるなどかなり大変だったらしい。
そういった苦労もあってこのボス戦での曲の切り替わりの演出方法は、本作の音楽面での大きな魅力となった。
