《右肩の蝶》是2009年04月01日由のりP上传至niconico的作品，由镜音铃演唱。其后发布镜音连版本和一周年版本，铃版和连版均已成为传说曲，为镜音双子代表性乐曲之一。
知名音乐游戏《初音ミク -Project DIVA-》系列亦有收录，为人气曲之一。
是数次初音演唱会中的曲目。
リン版和レン版的右肩の蝶皆曾登上周刊VOCALOID排行榜的第一名，这在该排行榜史上是第一次出现。
知名手机游戏《神魔之塔》于2019年秋季合作时推出的石抽卡牌「盈蝶线牵·镜音铃与镜音连」虽以本乐曲形象进行设计，但因为收录乐曲为镜音连版本的关系，以致镜音铃乐曲形象的卡牌，改由象征「炉心融解」的地狱级副本卡「泡沫罪梦·镜音铃」取代。
