《为俄罗斯服役》的创作开始时间大约为1992年前后，然而由于苏联解体，最终完成创作的时间估计在2000年后。如果苏联没有解体，这首曲子就真的是叫《为苏联服役》了。结合那段历史来看，这首曲子的创作者可以说是满怀着对前苏联强大国力与国际地位的怀念和憧憬写下的曲谱。但眼下斯拉夫民族四分五裂，曾经并肩作战的英雄如今却同室操戈，兄弟阋墙，实在是令人扼腕。
